Q: We heard you were a fan of BabyGold™ long before our collaboration! How did you discover us; what drew you to the brand?
Barbie: I first discovered Baby Gold when I was pregnant. One of my girlfriends had this beautiful necklace with her kids’ names on it, and I instantly knew I needed one for my babies too. I loved that it felt so meaningful yet still stylish. From that moment, I was hooked. The pieces are timeless, personal, and something you can wear every single day.
Q: What’s your favorite category of jewelry? What’s your go-to stack?
Barbie: Necklaces, for sure. I love a layered gold look, a mix of dainty chains and a nameplate or pendant – something that feels feminine but still cool and minimal.
Q: What is your first memory of jewelry in your life?
Barbie: My first real memory of jewelry was a Tiffany necklace my mom gave me when I was little. It came in that signature blue box, and I remember feeling so special unwrapping it. It wasn’t just about the necklace it was about the meaning behind it. She told me jewelry should always remind you of a moment or a person, and that’s stuck with me. To this day, every piece I wear carries some sort of story or connection like that.

Q: What’s your favorite all-time piece of jewelry you’ve ever been gifted?
Barbie: My engagement ring, without a doubt. Not only is it stunning, but it symbolizes the start of everything, my marriage, our family, our life together. Every time I look at it, I think about how far we’ve come, the journey we’ve been on, and how it led us to this beautiful, chaotic, love-filled life with our twins. It’s so much more than a ring; it’s the story of us.
Q: What is on your holiday wishlist this year?
Barbie: A BabyGold charm bracelet I can add to over time, a new camera lens for capturing family moments, and maybe a cozy family getaway to somewhere snowy.
Q: How has having children changed your perspective on Christmas?
Barbie: Having twins has completely transformed how I see Christmas. Before, it was about the fun of shopping, parties, and seeing friends, but now it’s about slowing down and experiencing the magic through their eyes. Seeing their faces light up when they see the lights or open a gift makes me emotional every time. It reminds me of how pure that childhood wonder is. I also find myself cherishing the simple things: more cozy mornings in pajamas, reading holiday books, and cuddling by the tree. Those quiet, real moments feel like the true heart of Christmas now.
What do the holidays mean to you? What do you enjoy and value most about the season?
The holidays have always been my favorite time of year, but now as a mom, they’ve taken on a whole new meaning. It’s about building our own family traditions, decorating the tree together, matching PJs on Christmas Eve, baking cookies while Christmas music plays, and watching the twins’ excitement over every little thing. I love creating those core memories for them, things they’ll look back on one day and associate with warmth, laughter, and love. It’s not about the presents; it’s about the feeling that fills our home during that time of year.
With the new year on the way, what resolutions do you have?
To be more present. Life moves so fast with toddlers, work, and everything in between. I just want to slow down, savor the little things, and keep creating meaningful moments with my family.
Barbie, it’s been such a pleasure to collaborate with you (and your adorable minis!) What was this experience like? What was your favorite moment?
It was honestly one of the most special collaborations I’ve ever done. I’ve worked with so many incredible brands over the years, but getting to do this with my twins was on another level. It felt like such a milestone, not just professionally, but personally. My favorite moment was between takes when they were giggling and playing with my BabyGold name necklace, the very same one with their names on it. It couldn’t have been more full-circle. Those little candid moments reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this brand in the first place: it’s about love, family, and connection. It didn’t even feel like work; it felt like capturing a memory we’ll have forever. Thank you!
